WCB manages investment grade fixed income and equity accounts for 30 institutional clients in 50 separately managed portfolios (for 8 of the clients, WCB manages multiple accounts). The average portfolio is in excess of $50 million.
Although each of the portfolios referenced above is customized to comply with each client’s investment directives, it is managed based on time-tested investment strategies often referred to as products or product categories. Each account is included in a performance composite which is reflective of a given product or strategy. All investment performance composites at WCB are constructed based on the “Global Investment Performance Standards” (GIPS) which are sanctioned by the Chartered Financial Analysts (“CFA”) Institute and are examined quarterly in our office by an independent performance verification service which has been approved by the CFA Institute. WCB is compliant with GIPS Standards on all performance composites examined.
