Principal, Chief Economist
Dr. Daane is the firm's chief economist and responsible primarily for monitoring fiscal and monetary policy of central banks globally. He has been with the firm since its inception in 1984. Prior to joining WCB, Dr. Daane had a thirty-five year career with the Federal Reserve Bank and served as a member of the Board of Governors and the Open Market Committee. He also served more than fifteen years with Commerce Union Bank (and its successor firms) as Chairman of the Trust Board and Chief Economist. Dr. Daane is also a Professor of Finance at the Owen Graduate School of Management at Vanderbilt University. He received his B.A. from Duke University and his M.A. and Ph.D. from Harvard University. |
